A Team of Innovation

We Think One Step Ahead to Design Future-Proof Buildings

MorgenGrün – Ideas Are Our Drive

Above all, we have one goal: to use the power of innovation to design buildings and properties that meet our ecological and social responsibilities in the long term. Our shared mission is clear: we must reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the real estate industry and become more climate-friendly overall.
This is one of the greatest challenges of the coming years, and we are ready to take it on. That’s why we design buildings of the highest quality, enhance property value with environmentally friendly and resource-efficient technologies, and, with innovation and passion, make the world a little more future-proof.

We Didn´t Come Out of Nowhere.

As a sprout of ZWP, one of Germany’s leading engineering firms, we bring fresh energy to consulting, strategy development, and concept creation for sustainable real estate. Since 1983, ZWP’s experienced engineers have been developing innovative, sustainable, and customized technical building equipment solutions.
With MorgenGrün, we take it a step further: we provide holistic, agile, and creative consulting - with a strong focus on sustainable innovations. At the same time, we draw on 40 years of ZWP expertise to make your projects future-proof.

You Want to Design Buildings of Tomorrow?

Whether as a project engineer in building energy and simulation, building physics and simulation, or certification and sustainability – at MorgenGrün, you help shape the innovations of tomorrow's buildings!

Beyond Practice: Our Commitment to Research and Education

Whether at TH Köln, HfT Stuttgart, or RWTH Aachen, we teach at universities and technical colleges while mentoring students in their final theses. This way, we not only share our knowledge but also drive innovation from its earliest stages. And because we supervise theses directly within projects, theory and practice are seamlessly integrated.

Energy Concept

Since March 2021, our colleague Melanie Leypoldt has been teaching as a lecturer at the Hochschule für Technik (HfT) in Stuttgart in the elective course "Advanced Energy Concept Design" as part of the Bachelor's program in Climate Engineering.
This advanced course focuses on the development and calculation of sustainable energy concepts for buildings. In addition to technical solutions, it also explores fundamental principles of resource economics and environmental policy, promoting future-proof and resource-efficient approaches.

Energy-Efficient Modernization

Our colleague, Dr.-Ing. Jan Richarz, conducted research and taught at the Chair of Building and Indoor Climate Technology at the E.ON Energy Research Center of RWTH Aachen from 2017 to 2023. He is author of several specialist articles on energy modernization strategies in buildings.

Building Physics

Alfred Wallau is the coordinator of the Building Physics working group at the First Q Network, a European network of leading engineering firms focused on sustainable construction.
With innovative concepts such as Smart Buildings and bioclimatic design, the network develops solutions that are energy-efficient and climate-friendly. The expertise of its members is utilized across borders.
